Europa Flintshire Limestone Gas Fireplace Suite
*Smaller Size Option **Larger Size Option. Do not start any building work until you have received this product. NOTE: Please ensure to have a survey carried out by a Gas Safe Register registered gas installer to check and certify the compatibility of your chimney with this fire before making any purchase to avoid disappointment. Please note that whilst soot deposits on a gas fire are quite normal and to be expected, they will be more visible on a pebble, log or driftwood fuel effect. Similarly you may experience discolouration of the Limestone interior either to the rear or sides of the fire which will vary in degree dependant on the flue pull and other local conditions, which again is quite normal and to be expected with a fireplace made from this type of material and colour. Also when choosing to upgrade to an alternative fuel effect to that of the standard black granules, you will still receive the black granules in addition to the upgraded fuel bed i.e. driftwood would still come with black granules as well. Note: Limestone is a material that has been formed over millions of years and as such is prone to fossils and other natural inclusions that are formed within these materials. These features are of no detriment to the stone and it is what makes this material unique, due to its variety of patterns and natural variations as no two fireplaces are the same. Most Limestone fireplaces will have air pockets on the surface which may be stopped and filled as required. Limestone is generally a robust material although being of a porous stone it is subject to staining from spillages from drinks such as red wine, tea, coffee, marker pens etc. Please therefore avoid placing drinks hot or cold onto the fireplace and always wipe away any spills immediately. Whilst it is strongly recommended that all Limestone fireplaces be sealed twice a year with a suitable sealant, there is still no guarantee that staining will not occur.
